Event Description:
Join photographer Simone Lipscomb for this hands-on instruction on how to create images that capture the emotion of a place. Emphasis will be placed first on seeing the image and then creating the image you see. We will break down components of the image targeting composition, lighting and emotion. Our field work will focus on feelings felt by the photographer and how we can translate those emotions to the viewer. Working with early-morning light, we will capture images and afterwards we will review as a group on laptop/projector setup.
$75, $35 deposit with rest due on day of class
Bring sack lunch and drink. You'll need a digital camera, SLR or point and shoot. Bring a laptop if you have one.
