Event Description:
The Alabama Hiking Trail Society will be holding its annual statewide hiking and backpacking conference March 8-10, 2013, at the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center in Spanish Fort. The weekend will be filled with speakers and hanks on demonstrations for hikers, backpackers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike plus hikes, prizes, food, and fun. The keynote speaker will be Marty Dominy with the Great Eastern Trail Association, a new hiking trail that will stretch from Alabama to New York state.
